PARK RULES:
  • Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by their dogs
  • Owners and their dogs should expect frequent interaction with other dogs or people
  • People and their pets enter at their own risk
  • City of Sioux City is not responsible for actions of people or pets
  • Remove dogs at the first sign of aggression
  • Please dispose of pet waste. Bags and containers are provided at the park entrance
  • Children must be six years of age or older and should be under close supervision
  • Bring no more than two dogs per person, and carry a leash for each dog at all times
  • Fill any holes your dog digs
  • Proof of vaccination required
  • Contributors who donate $10 annually will receive a special dog tag. Contributions received will fund future park improvements and can be made at the Parks & Recreation office, 405 6th Street, Room 408. Other donations are welcomed and can be placed in the entrance drop box
  • If bitten, provide information to the Sioux City Animal Control at 712-279-6170
  • If conflicts arise, contact the police dispatch center at 712-279-6960
  • No sledding or snowboarding in the park

The following are prohibited in the park:

  • Dogs in heat
  • Food (except training treats), bones and rawhide
  • Puppies under four months of age
  • Prong or spike collars
